SUPERSEAL Tile Subfloor incorporates special layers of fleece that are heat fused with a high density plastic core. The fleece layers absorb moisture out of thinset unlike plastic surface membranes. This allows you to use the TCNA recommended application of modifed thinset on top of the SUPERSEAL Tile Subfloor. As a result, the thinset cures in a very timely fashion (As seen in the video above).

In addition, when the moisture is drawn out of the thinset and into the fleece, it then hydrates the thinset as needed. This enhances the strength of the thinset during the curing process, just like a concrete slab. The tiles adhesion is excelerated faster and stronger that any competing plastic surface membrane in the market.
